Matthew co-founded Custom Communication one of the UK’s first social media consultancies and the Social Media Influence Conference. He has blogged for Time.com and Slate’s The Big Money.
Matthew has worked in New York and London for major publications such as the New York Times, National Geographic, The Atlantic and Wired. He was a senior editor at the Industry Standard and the Village Voice. Matthew has taught social media and journalism at Cardiff University and New York University. He is the author of two books: Oil, Anatomy of an Industry and The Gastrokid Cookbook.
