Now though, social media as a career industry accounts for a huge portion of the jobs market, and telling someone you work in the biz is as straightforward as saying you work in accounting (well, it might elicit a slightly more enthusiastic response).
Since the beginning of 2010, jobs involving social media have exploded by 1357%, centering around five main cities and countries.
