PepsiCo and Dell to Speak at Social Media Influence Conference 2010

Submitted by Social Media Influence on April 13, 2010 – 10:59 am8 Comments

We’ve run our Social Media Influence conference for five years now and we’re excited to announce that, on June 22, at the London Marriott, Grosvenor Square, once again we’ll be bringing some of the smartest social media thinkers together for a day of debate and best practice presentations.

Central to this year’s conference is a question we’ve been asking for some time: what makes a company successful in social media engagement? We’ll be exploring how companies are moving beyond campaigns, how measurement of social media should be valued throughout the corporation and how winning the support of the boardroom is crucial when it comes to implementing social media programs both for customers and employees.

That’s quite an ambitious task and so to help us answer these important questions we’ve confirmed as speakers two global executives who are committed to making social media a success:  B. Bonin Bough, Global Director of Digital and Social Media for PepsiCo and Manish Mehta, Vice President Global Online at Dell.

Along with other top speakers including Ruth Speakman, head of corporate communications at Sony Electronics Europe, Lee Bryant, director of Headshift and Antony Mayfield, VP Social Media at iCrossing, we will be offering crucial insight into how communicators need to work in a world that has been transformed by social media philosophy and social technologies.

The conference will begin by evaluating two different tracks of business implementation – how social media is being used to build better customer relationships and how social business design is reshaping employee working relationships. Then we’ll bring these two tracks together to explore together how to make a truly social company.

In the coming weeks we’ll be highlighting the work these companies are doing in shaping a social business and we’ll be announcing more top-notch speakers so stay tuned.

To guarantee your chance to learn about the dramatic social media changes taking place within the world’s top companies book your delegate place now.
