Is it possible to be “unGoogleable”?

Submitted by matthew yeomans on May 29, 2008 – 8:55 am2 Comments

That’s the question I pose in my Times column this week. Sure, we all know about SEO specialists and their zeal to get clients to the top of the search engine rankings. But what about companies/politicians/celebs/average citizens who would like all reference to them expunged from the public record? It’s no small feat.

I spoke to Nilhan Jayasinghe of iCrossing UK who gave me a few tips on how best to bury bad news. iCrossing will be at Social Media Influence next Wednesday to discuss this and more. For details click on our agenda here.
